TRU’s Accessibility Action Plan: your voice matters
TRU is excited to announce the launch of its Accessibility Action Plan for 2025-2028, which highlights our commitment to creating a barrier-free, inclusive environment for all students. This plan is a crucial step in ensuring equitable access to education and fostering a welcoming campus community.
We invite your input to improve accessibility at TRU. Email accesscommittee@tru.ca with “Accessibility Action Plan feedback” in the subject line to share your thoughts on the plan and any barriers you’ve experienced.
Construction begins Mar. 3 on TRU’s low-carbon future
Starting March 3, work begins on the next phase of the Low-Carbon District Energy System (LCDES) project as part of TRU’s journey to zero carbon by 2030. The project will begin with the installation of a new gas line, followed by mobilization of construction crews in mid-March. Temporary closures and rerouted access points across campus will be required.
Thank you for your patience and support as we build a more sustainable future at TRU. Visit tru.ca/lcdes for maps and updates.
