Practicum placements outside Kamloops

Most practice experiences will occur in health agencies within or near the city of Kamloops. Please be aware that all students are expected and required to have a practicum outside of Kamloops at some point throughout the program and are responsible for fees associated with this. Students should consider factors such as transport, accommodations and insurance as they prepare to do a practicum out of town. The department strongly encourages students to have their own vehicle or access to one to facilitate ease of clinical placements. Please visit the BScN Handbook for more information.
