Are you a TRU student full of school spirit? Do you have a knack for social media and a passion for sharing your TRU journey? Are you ready to develop your leadership skills and make a difference on campus? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you might be a perfect fit for the TRU Ambassador program!
About the Role:
Future Student Ambassadors represent TRU in various ways, serving as a bridge between the university and prospective students. Your role is to connect with future students, sharing your personal journey and insights into the TRU experience.
As a TRU Future Students Ambassador, you'll have the exciting opportunity to:
- Create Engaging Content: Craft social media posts, stories, and blogs highlighting TRU's academic, social, and cultural dimensions.
- Support Prospective Student Events: Participate in events like open houses and Student for a Day to provide insights and support to prospective students.
- Lead Campus Tours: Guide visitors on campus tours, sharing your personal stories and insights to help them envision themselves as part of the TRU community.
- Network and Grow: Connect with fellow ambassadors, staff, and faculty to expand your network and gain valuable insights and mentorship.
- Receive Recognition and Training: Benefit from comprehensive training, ongoing mentorship, and recognition for your contributions to the TRU community.
Qualifications:
- Enrollment at TRU: Priority given to undergraduate TRU students, especially domestic students.
- Academic Standing: Maintain a GPA of 2.50 or higher.
- Communication Skills: Strong proficiency in English communication is essential.
- Passion for TRU: We're looking for individuals excited to share their positive experiences and insights with prospective students and their families.

- Honorarium: Ambassadors receive an honorarium twice each semester for their dedicated hours of work. Up to $1000 per semester!
