Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility for TRU programs
- All TRU Juris Doctor, master’s degrees, and bachelor’s degrees qualify for a PGWP of up to 3 years. CIP codes are for reference only and do not affect eligibility, as IRCC does not apply field-of-study restrictions to these program types. Learn more here.
- For all other programs, field-of-study requirements may apply, and students should check the PGWP eligibility column, program length, and listed CIP code for details.
- Programs marked as PGWP‑eligible meet the application requirements. Graduating from a PGWP‑eligible program may make you eligible to apply, but a PGWP is not guaranteed. All PGWP decisions are made solely by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Learn more about the PGWP here.
