Summer is a great time to be at TRU. It's an excellent opportunity to advance your academic progress with a variety of courses. Fill in missing courses. Try something new. Earn credits to speed the progress towards graduation.

Use the Course Schedule to find what on-campus courses are being offered. Select the "Summer 2025 (May-Aug)" term.

Open Learning Courses
Summer is also a great time to take an Open Learning course. Search for OL courses that will help fill in your schedule.
Take a course at no cost this summer
Most TRU students who were full-time in the preceding terms and are taking one or two courses in the coming term can qualify to have their tuition, fees, and books fully paid by a Canada Student Grant. The application process is short and all online.
Apply by the end of the first week of classes to allow time for processing and disbursement.
