Serving distance students who have limited or no Internet access
TRU is committed to providing access to high-quality, flexible learning for the widest possible range of students. At TRU Open Learning, we believe that limited or no internet access should not be a barrier to learning. To support students with limited or no internet access, we are modernizing our services to help facilitate access to course materials. Open Learning will work with students to find practical solutions and support their learning journey.
Registering for courses
In order to ensure that your registration is properly processed, please fill out the course registration form. Indicate that you have limited internet access and describe your situation. If you have any questions about this process, please contact our dedicated Delivery Support for students with limited or no internet access at DeliverySupport2@tru.ca.
Exams
If a course includes a Final Exam, you will need an approved exam invigilator. Please see the Exams page for more details.
Working towards a credential
Limited internet access does not have to stand in the way of your educational goals. You can choose from a selection of courses or work toward a Certificate or Diploma of General Studies. If you are interested in applying your courses toward a certificate, diploma, or degree, please visit our Open Learning programs page.
