Carpentry
XCRP 0600 - Introduction to Woodworking
This introductory woodworking course provides participants with hands-on experience in carpentry projects while building confidence in operating power tools with a focus on finishing and joinery. A strong emphasis is placed on tool knowledge, safe practices, and the proper use of shop equipment.
Upon demonstration of competency in tool and equipment use, participants will partake in a finished wood project of their choice such as a small step stool, cutting board, or charcuterie board.
The course duration may allow participants to choose another project to work on in class, where they will be responsible for their own materials.

Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00 – 8:00 pm
Course Fee: $649
Requirements: Participants will be required to supply and wear CSA Approved footwear in the shop.
